Problem

Picture a stack of fractions, three layers deep. Each layer looks like "3 plus 1 over the next layer." The very bottom layer is just 3+133 + \frac{1}{3}.

So the whole thing is 3+13+13+13.3+\frac{1}{3+\frac{1}{3+\frac{1}{3}}}.

What number does this equal?
