Problem

The Incredible Hulk doubles his jump distance every time he jumps. His first jump is 11 meter, his second is 22 meters, his third is 44 meters, his fourth is 88 meters, and so on.

So the distance keeps doubling: 1,2,4,8,16,32,1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, \ldots

Picture the jumps getting longer and longer. We want to know when his jump first goes over 11 kilometer, which is the same as 1,0001{,}000 meters.

On which jump does he first travel more than 1,0001{,}000 meters?

Pick an answer.

(B)

(C)
