Problem

A palindrome is a number that reads the same forward and backward. For example, 12321 is a palindrome, and so is 77.

Picture all the two-digit numbers that are palindromes. (These are 11, 22, 33, and so on.)

We want to find a three-digit number NN with two properties. First, NN is the sum of three different two-digit palindromes. Second, NN itself is not a palindrome.

Among all numbers that fit both rules, NN is the smallest one.

What is the sum of the digits of NN?
