Problem

Picture a 7×77 \times 7 square grid of empty boxes.

Start at the center box and write the number 11. Then spiral outward, writing 2,3,4,2, 3, 4, \dots one number per box, until you've placed all the numbers up to 4949. The picture below shows how the first few numbers go in.

Look at the picture. Four boxes have been shaded grey. They sit along the same diagonal as the box that holds the number 77.

After the spiral is finished, four numbers will end up in those shaded boxes. How many of those four numbers are prime?

Diagram

A 7×7 spiral starts at 1 in the center; numbers 1–7 are shown, four grey cells along the same diagonal as 7 are marked with question marks, and dashed hints show the spiral continues outward to fill the rest of the grid.
