Problem

Imagine a weather station on a mountain that measures the amount of carbon dioxide in the air.

In January 19801980, the station measured the carbon dioxide level at 338338 ppm. (ppm just means "parts per million," a way to say how much of the air is carbon dioxide.)

Every year after that, the carbon dioxide level went up by about 1.5151.515 ppm.

If it keeps going up by the same amount each year, what would the carbon dioxide level be in January 20302030? Round your answer to the nearest whole number.
